La Pintada is a picturesque town, full of customs and traditions to share, among them the elaboration of the 'Pintao' hat, designated Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Surrounded by waterfalls and rivers, with numerous agro-ecological farms, La Pintada offers the experience of healthy rural life and an immersion into the Coclesan identity.
The Gaital Natural Monument, internationally known by birdwatchers and hikers, adorns the landscape. In conjunction with the Omar Torrijos National Park, it offers a great diversity of interpretive trails and camping sites.
La Pintada is also part of the Golden Warriors Circuit, due to the heritage of its first original inhabitants, who put up fierce resistance to the Spanish conquistadors.
Its proximity to the Pacific coast makes it a strategic destination to complement a visit to the sun and beach with cultural experiences, contact with nature and active tourism.

La Pintada is only 15 km from Penonome, approximately 20 minutes away. From Penonome, take the road "Via a la Pintada", towards the north and follow the main road until you reach the entrance of the village. Continue along the same street until you reach the central square.
It has options of agritourism lodging where you can enjoy a coexistence close to the fertile land and the Panamanian countryside.
In the center of the community, several traditional fondas offer typical dishes prepared with local ingredients. In the agritourism farms you will find breakfast and lunch options by reservation.
